What got
you involved in volunteering?
My Amateur team manager is Richard 'Foxy' Fox and he asked if I would be
interested in helping out. Think he's realised my legs haven't got much
left in them.
What has been your most positive experience as a volunteer?
Watching the boys improve as players and take what you teach them at
training on to the pitch on a Saturday.
How important is volunteering to your club?
Very important. Without myself and Jinky there would probably be no
Scott Arfield 2.
What is so special about being involved with Falkirk in the
Community?
To be part of educational programme that will hopefully help Scottish
football in the future.
What support do you receive from Falkirk in the Community?
They provide, equipment, training facilities and organise games for the
team. As a coach I receive weekly emails detailing new training drills,
and any up and coming events which would benefit the team. They also
offer the facility for all coaches to obtain our coaching badges which
is fundamental to the progress of the team.
How can
any new players join your Club?
Contact the club through the Falkirk in the Community website
What do
you like to do with your spare time?
Stay injury free!!!
