Falkirk in the Community hailed
its 1st team camps for under 9 players a big success.
The camp was held over the 1st week of the Easter holidays
from 10-2pm each day at St Mungos High School.
Tom Elliott Head of the Falkirk
Foundation enthused “Firstly, Great credit must to all the
players who worked incredibly hard throughout the week and
they can all be pleased with their efforts over the week. We
introduced a few different techniques including the Roger
Spry flexibility programme something which I delivered a lot
whilst coaching for 3 years in the USA. We also had the
benefit of Paul Green our sports scientist and conditioning
coach who worked with the players all week.
Secondly, the facilities at the school are 1st class and we
had the time and space to work on different aspects of the
game both indoors and outdoors all week. We now hope to use
the facility again during the summer holidays for our
preparation pre season programme for all our teams. once
again thanks again to all our parents who made sure the
players were dropped off and picked up each day.
Finally, Richard 'foxy' Fox was unable to attend after
Monday following his baby daughter taking ill and being
rushed to hospital, we all hope for her speedy recovery and
everyone in the foundation send their best wishes.
